Jim became interested in real estate while employed at Corporex and decided to get his real estate license in 1983, subsequently joining HUFF REALTY. In 1984 he received his Brokers License. Jim has specialized in all types of commercial real estate. Jim received his Bachelors Degree from Eastern University, Richmond, Kentucky and attended Xavier University Masters' program. His degrees are in accounting, finance and marketing. Jim spent twenty-five years in accounting and financial management with E.I. DuPont and Rockwell International, his primary responsibilities being the founding and construction of new plant facilities and warehouses throughout the United States and Canada. In 1980, Jim joined W.P. Butler Company (now Corporex) as Property-Asset Manager. He was responsible for the leasing, fiscal and physical integrity of 1,600,000 square feet of retail, office and industrial properties located in Kentucky and Ohio. Jim was real estate instructor for HUFF REALTY. In 1989, he became a member of the Northern Kentucky University part-time faculty. Jim taught Real Estate Principals and Practices, Investment and Property Management courses. Jim has been with the HUFF family of companies for twenty two years.
